Whether it's a blog, a corporate site, or a simple story, everything starts with the inevitable "About" page—whether it's about me, you, or artificial intelligence as the next extinction-level event for the human race.
But to keep things briefly about me, let's do the proper (and strictly short) introductions: I'm a full-stack web developer, born in '92. Young enough to still throw myself headfirst into anything new, yet old enough to legitimately wear the "nostalgic" badge for old-school blogs and everything the internet represented back when I found it simply wonderful.
The Anachronism of Writing
Nostalgia aside, I realize I picked the worst possible decade to produce written content. Nobody cares to read anymore, average attention spans are measured in fractions of a second, and as much as I consider myself a decent writer, my style tends to be far too verbose and complex—a terrible match for today's fast-food media consumption.
Can you imagine how anachronistic it is to sit down and write purely for pleasure, at a time when all it takes is a bit of cleverness to generate original content without typing a single word? You can picture it, right?
I, evidently, cannot.
The Art of Wasting Time
For a while now, I've noticed that right in the middle of a true technological revolution, dedicating oneself to an activity without ulterior motives has become almost taboo. With increasingly powerful tools at our disposal, everything should be easier; yet, the constant guilt of not monetizing every single second of your free time makes everything feel seemingly pointless.
Add to that the fact that I’ve always been a hardcore enthusiast: I'm the kind of person who can lose hours hybridizing a custom Cachy-OS kernel into a vanilla Arch system, or tweaking dwm configurations across a dual 180Hz monitor setup. I don't do it because I have to make money off it or because it's strictly necessary, but for the sheer joy of getting my hands dirty, understanding how things work, and pushing hardware to its absolute limit. If I spend too much time on one thing, I get bored. I see every new technology not just as an opportunity, but as a case study.
So, what happens when a profile like this collides with the mass adoption of artificial intelligence and the "productivity at all costs" hustle culture?
My Digital Playground
Ultimately, I think I’ve squared the circle by bridging my daily job as a developer with my free time. Instead of relegating AI to the role of a mere shortcut to "produce more," I decided to make it the central element of my explorations.
I needed an excuse—a real, concrete use case to apply my technical knowledge and test everything that fascinates me: new approaches to AI, complex prompt engineering, experimenting with agentic frameworks, and novel architectures. And what better testbed than my own web space?
This is my digital playground. An ecosystem where I keep being a dev, but on my own terms, turning the very creation and management of content into the perfect construction site for getting my hands dirty with frontier tech. The writing and opinions remain exquisitely mine—even if I’ve accepted the compromise of having to trim down my texts (a lot) to keep readers from running away—but everything revolving around it is pure experimentation.
This way, I manage to combine business with pleasure: carving out a corner where I can continue to be a tinkerer, implement automations, test new systems, play, and write. Strictly for passion.
